Korno-Phool Dokra Brass Ring
Description
Echoing traditional folk motifs and the ancient lost-wax (cire-perdue) metalcraft of Bengal, the Korno-Phool Ring balances fluid motion with bold presence. The centerpiece showcases a wide, arched base that folds inward to cradle a spiral, leading up into a balanced circular finial. Rural artisans painstakingly shape the sweeping lines and spiral contours by hand using warm beeswax threads over an alluvial clay core. Once encased and fired in earth kilns, the lost wax gives way to molten brass, leaving behind the organic texture, warm satin glow, and subtle imperfections of an authentic Dokra casting. Designed with a flexible bypass shank, it adjusts smoothly to fit any finger, making it an easy everyday heirloom or festive focal point alongside handloom sarees and contemporary tailored linen.
