Description
Drawing from Bengal’s lost-wax (cire-perdue) metal-casting legacy, the Hingsha Bajuband reinterprets nature-inspired tribal motifs into a sculpted arm adornment. The motif blends a teardrop-shaped base cradling a tight circular spiral, tapering outward into an elegant folk-style crest reminiscent of a regal swan. Every contour and binding wire was individually sculpted using hand-rolled beeswax threads, encased in river clay, and poured in molten brass. The resulting piece carries the signature organic warmth and tactile authenticity unique to one-off Dokra castings. Its flexible, open-shank construction allows it to slip effortlessly onto the upper arm or wrist. A heritage companion for handloom sarees, dhakai jamdanis, or raw linen kurtas.
