Description
Drawing from Santiniketan’s iconic wax-resist dyeing legacy, this handcrafted statement choker set takes the classic form of a traditional Bengali crescent hasli. The wide collar plaque is covered in rich earthen ochre-tan cotton, patterned with delicate batik leaf outlines in natural resist-dye crackle. At its center rests an elaborate oxidised silver-finish medallion sculpted with a radiating starburst mandala and finished with polished raindrop tassels.
Mounted on a durable, hand-braided black cotton dori with textured tan bead caps and an adjustable slip-tie, the choker sits smoothly contoured against the collarbone. The set includes coordinating circular fabric-wrapped stud earrings, each crowned with a matching filigree sunburst medallion and miniature droplet charms. An earthy statement piece that complements raw tussar silk sarees, handloom khadi, and minimalist linen dresses.
